The view mode displays all the information you have entered about each pet in a protected view. This prevents accidental deletion or changes in the information you have entered. To view any pet, simply click on the quick find list located on the left hand side.

The main section contains the pet information. Built4 Pets is designed to accept as much information as you want to enter. The only required field is the name of the pet. You can freely use the program to save the amount of information in the style you want.

The toolbar is the main navigation and action center for the software. The first three icons on the left side are action icons.

1. You can add a pet by clicking on the first icon. This icon will navigate to DATA MODE. You can delete in VIEW MODE by pressing the second icon. Caution: this will delete the pet completely with no recovery. A popup message does alert you to this action. The third icon will take you to DATA MODE where you can safely make changes to your pet.
2. The next two icons are navigation icons. Built4 Pets has three main sections: PETS, PROVIDERS, and CARE REOCRDS. To the left of the navigation icons you will see the section you are currently in: PETS. To the right of the navigation icons you will see what mode you are currently in: VIEW.
3. The last part of the toolbar provides access to REPORTS and a HELP key. To exit the program, simply click on the EXIT icon. You can also close the window and exit as you would in many window programs.

Displays records available and is sortable by category only. In this case, the QUICK FIND is displaying your pet's names.

Built4 Pets is designed to work with only one pet or a multi-pet situation. An active pet is required to use the software. All records and providers can then be associated to that active pet. With this system, it would be possible to take your dogs to one vet while your cats may go to another vet that specializes in feline care.

To active a pet, simply click on the pet's name within the quick find and that pet's information will appear in the main section.

1. Navigate through the records using these record navigation buttons. You can easily go to the first pet, previous pet, next pet or last pet. Click the middle icon and ALL pet(s) will be available to view.
2. pet count is displayed by showing the number of pet(s).
3. By typing a few letters into the white box of the QUICK FIND system will cause a sorting action to begin, assisting your search for a specific record. For example: if you type in the letters BE in the white box- all the pet(s) starting with BE - example BEAR would be displayed.
4. Click on the double arrow icon and it will clear the search and all the records will be available once again.
5. Click on the pet name listed and the information you have entered will now be displayed and considered the active pet.

This section offers all the information about each pet for fast viewing. Emergencies happen and information may be needed right away. The info box will contain the pet information you may need.

1. The Active Pet is circled in bright orange.
2. If you add the birth date, Built4 Pets will calculate the age. Very handy! I have a hard time remembering my own age at times. Fill in as much information as you want. Only the pet name is required.
3. View and zoom in your pet's picture Pictures can be added easily in the EDIT MODE.

The first tab view displays VACCINATIONS on one side and NOTES on the other side.

1. This displays all the vaccines that this pet has received and has been entered into Built4 Pets.
2. Clicking on the small blue dot in this view will direct you to the exact CARE RECORD.
3. Next due day will indicate IF overdue by appearing in red. NOTE: This is a suggested date, please ALWAYS refer to your caregiver for ALL medical advise. Built4 Pets is not responsible for incorrect medication or shot advice or dates. This is a reference only.
4. You can always override the date by clicking on the small square and the text will appear black.
5. Tab for Diary. The diary is what you want to make it. Notes about your pet, upcoming appointments, or concerns for your next visit.
6. Clicking on the small blue dot in this view will display a popup for you to work with the diary while in VIEW MODE. See the next chapter for more details.

I find I am always needing notes for one of my pets. While in VIEW MODE the diary can be used. Click on the small blue dot to open the diary and read that note. If you need a new note, click on the edit pencil. A popup appears. If no record is shown, click on ADD icon to begin. When you are finished, click on the CLOSE icon to save your note.

1. You can arrow through previous notes easily.
2. Displays the current active pet.
3. Add a date reference easily with the calendar icon.
4. Use this for whatever you need or want. A great little helper!
5. Action icons to add or delete the note. Type in a new entry and click ADD. Need to remove a note, simply click the DELETE icon. When you are finished, click on the CLOSE icon and the diary popup is gone.

The second tabs show views of the medication on the left side and the family history on the right side.

1. This displays all the medication that this pet has received and has been entered into Built4 Pets.

3. This references the family history side.
4. View all history here. To enter this, you must be in the DATA MODE.

The third tabs show views of the special diets on the left side and the licenses on the right side.

1. This displays all the medication that this pet has received and has been entered into Built4 Pets.

3. This references all license information.
4. View all your pets licenses and chip information. Very handy in an emergency if your pet is lost. To enter this, you must be in the DATA MODE.

The last tab show views of the all the care visits that have been entered. Vet, groomer, trainer, ... they will display here for fast reference.
